3.8" mono-TFT-LCD audio

The standard 3.8" LCD audio system offers radio and CD player control, Bluetooth Handsfree, MP3 storage/playback functions and more. (LS and LX only)

4.3" TFT-LCD touch-screen audio

The 4.3" touch-screen audio system adds to the standard system`s capabilities, with a large colour touch-screen and an integrated backup camera display. (EX and SX only)

Blind Spot Detection (BSD)

The system uses radar sensors to monitor approaching vehicles from the rear in the lanes flanking the driver. If a vehicle is detected, a visual alert appears on the sideview mirrors. (SX and SXL only)

Smart power tailgate

The rear tailgate opens automatically when the Smart Key is detected nearby for 3 seconds or more. (SX and SXL only)

Rear air ventilation and power supply

Rear passengers can adjust airflow with vents and controls mounted at the back of the centre console. USB and 12V outlets allow for charging a variety of devices. (EX and SX only)

Six airbags

The Sorento offers driver, front passenger, two front-side and two side-curtain airbags to help protect occupants and potentially reduce injuries in the event of collision. (Only driver and passenger on LS models)
